Manned Guarding We divide the Borough into sections, with a vehicle patrolling each area at all times. This year sees the reintroduction of a Transit minibus, which enables us to despatch concentrated numbers of staff into problem areas - quickly. The manned guarding service is regularly inspected by the ISI (Inspectorate of the Security Industry). This ensures that we are operating to BS7499 and that all training issues are adequately addressed. In addition to this, all our patrol staff are thoroughly vetted in accordance with BS7858, which traces work records back for a 10 year period.
